Last Saturday night (Dec 7th) in the CBC LOMH prayer tent, our team (4 prayer warriors) got the chance to serve a young lady who asked us to pray for her mom. She was desperate! Both she and her mom were Christians. Her mom, who was in her 70s and lived alone in Thailand, had complicated medical issues: shoulder bone joints problem and pain, cataract for both eyes, bone joints pain all over her body, and her existing heart issues, which eliminated any surgeries for her.
The daughter connected with her mom by a video call, so we could see her mom through the phone. One brother prayed for her shoulder twice. Then the mom checked and told us her pain dropped from 5-0. Then one sister prayed for both eyes to be healed. Before we moved on, we felt like we got some words from the Lord: one with “repent”, one with “trauma” and one with “unforgiving”. So, we asked if there was anyone or anything that she could not forgive that was still bothering her. She said yes, she thought she had already forgiven some person relating to traumatized memories, but the issue came back and still bothered her. She was willing to repent and forgive. Together we asked the Lord to help her. After that we blessed her for healing for the joint pain and her whole body.
The mom was very excited and said she felt the Lord’s presence and healing. Her face was now joyful and thankful. We encouraged the daughter pray for her mom. She started praying in Thai, very beautiful ( the sound) and full of rhythms. One prayer sister knew some Thai. She had helped a lot during the prayer. She was amazed that she could actually understand every word of her prayer. Powerful pleading! Lastly, we prayed for the daughter and blessed her in Jesus’s name. We felt the presence and joy of the Lord. We gave thanks to the Lord!
