This movie was an interesting movie. Because of it's set-up, this movie could have been good or even amazing, but it was neither. The idea behind this movie was great, but it just didn't work as a whole and I can't expect more than what we got. The story line was confusing, I never knew what was happening when.
The plot was difficult to follow, the characters were unrealistic and the overall movie had no storyline. It seemed like the production added suspense to create tension, but when you realize the actors actually know what's happening, the tension is all fake. It was a very boring movie. I could only sit through two thirds of it and even then I was bored. I understand that the concept of ghost ships is interesting – I can only hope that the next movie is better than this one.
The movie was rifht off with its premise. The history of the vessel. The location and even the politics and characters. Someone even copied the opening sequences if not the story. But the execution was horrible. This was a total bust and, believe me, I saw all of it with my own eyes.
"Ghost Ship" is a good, scary, new movie. The plot revolves around a ship that was lost to the sea. Some people life aboard the ship, some come to recover some of the relics that were on board. After the people leave the ship again, it is wrecked. When the ship is found years later, it is abandoned in the middle of the sea. The people begin to find out more about the ship and the ghosts on board. Although this movie is good in some ways, it is not scary in the way that I really wanted. The scenes that are set on the ship are interesting, however, the scenes that take place in the "external" environments are much less interesting. The acting in the ghost ship sequences is good, however, the acting in the external scenes were not great. Overall, this is a good movie, but it is not scary, or it is scary enough, but not in the way I want. d2c66b5586
