There are two issues here. I think a full listing of critics is indeed useful, even if it's a bit of a shell game. When I think of a good article for a film I don't want to see the critics listed for all of them, but I want to know that the film has been well-reviewed by them. I personally don't like the wall of text that every critic's top ten list on IMDB provides, but that's one of the things that make it useful. The only problem is that, while I think the summary of these lists is important, I don't think that it is justified to display as a *major* part of the summary. If we are only summarizing this information for the film in question, then it should be a part of the film description. I don't know about the other articles that have it, but the one that I am involved with has a listing of previous lists at the top of the article, and has the movie description (which includes the top ten critics) as the body. This is important because it displays the top ten critics lists as part of the movie description, but doesn't list *every* critic, and the summary itself is less of an integral part of the article. This is not a matter of top lists, but whether we do a summary of critics or not. I think that's a way to make the summary more important than it actually is. But if it's only done for the film in question, then we shouldn't include it. --Ouroborus(talk) 19:23, 12 January 2009 (UTC)

I can't say that's a bad idea at all. I think it's a very good idea for summary listings, but it's not something we need to explicitly state.
