Two of the best software interfaces for vinyl cutters I have used. I have been using cutterD from CutterDTD for several years and the software itself is also very user friendly and works great. If you are looking for a low cost solution, this is the right option.
If you are looking for something a little bit more professional and high end, I've been using the Stahls Cadworx Premium software for the past 3 years and have been extremely satisfied with the results. Building a designer file from scratch is easy and they also have scratch and pattern files that you can use to build a vinyl cutter file from scratch.
I've never used this software. There have been less expensive vinyl cutters because of the lack of features. I can't recommend this, but I would be happy to do any testing for you before you purchase.
This software requires you to purchase the software to work. They make a printer driver that you load into your computer, that will allow you to load your interface from that. They offer many options to help generate a file, but will ask you to enter information such as number of pieces, thickness and more. While they offer a free plan, it does not allow for customization.
The software I used on my vinyl cutter is called Designer. They have numerous levels of pricing for all the features you need. The lower the level, the more you pay. Some of the levels include texture, number of pieces, number of colors and so on. I have used them for about a year and have been very satisfied so far. Generally, this software will only have a small pricing difference between the levels and can be quite rewarding. d2c66b5586
