Fix Outlook 2010 Stuck On Verifying Data Integrity Error In Outlook OST Files

I have a client that has worked with outlook for years and has recently shut down his pc for 2 weeks, come back and the outlook 2007 window is not opening. Since his computer was shutdown, I asked him to just do an impromptu backup, and he sent me the backup said it was done. I also asked him to go into the restore options and try to repair the files. BUT, each time he tries to repair it, it says that it found corruption in the file and I have to repair it again and again until it is done. This is a brand new laptop if that helps I or any suggestions at all to help him figure out what to do??? Thanks!

We are having the same problem our Envelopes are older and sometimes are missing when we open Microsoft 365. Sometimes if we reinstall outlook the problem stops. But not always. We noticed that if we delete the.ost files on the drive and then open outlook we can no longer open the files. We have also noticed that I only have one version of the extensions container in the outlook folder, however, there are several other versions of the extensions container. I am wondering if there is a folder that needs to be deleted or something else that we are missing.

I use Outlook 2007 not Outlook 365. And have had this issue for a few months now. I've tried different reasoning and suggestions on how to get rid of the error if it is not an "Outlook" error. There's no error messages in any of the areas of Outlook. Do you think that this could be because of Windows 7 32 bit? d2c66b5586
