At the same time, Barbara and her father are exploring the safe house where she was attacked by Grotesque. She later returned to the Gotham City Police Department, where she informed Gordon that the house was destroyed. She then explained to Gordon and his detectives that the house was not Grotesque's lair, but the residence of a woman whose name she didn't know. She also told them that she had seen a creature in the house, an entity that clearly resembled Grotesque, but the other detective, who was handling the case, thought she was hallucinating. Gordon quickly dismissed the incident as a hallucination, but the detective called Evans to check if he had been in contact with a reporter named Gabby Lovelace. Evans revealed that Lovelace had called him the night before, and she said that she had a scoop for them. He assured her he would look into it.
Gotham City had not had a murder or missing person of that kind in nearly two decades. Despite that, Barbara thought the first place she checked was too obvious, so she decided to investigate the next location on the list. At one of the addresses, she ran into a reclusive man named Peter Max. When she asked him about the first safe house, he told her that the house was vacant and also that a woman named Rosemary Crane had lived there before. She left the building, and at the next address, she received information that the house had been taken over by some religious group and was now being used as a youth hostel. She found a letter from the group that was addressed to Rosemary Crane, and Barbara decided to look around the place. She soon found a picture of Rosemary's dead body, hanging upside down.
Gordon met with Barbara at the hospital. He was upset that she had returned, but he assured her that she would feel better when she had a new implant and the two of them could be together. However, Barbara was still worried about the creature that attacked her at the safe house, and she continued to investigate the case alone. As she visited the local newspaper offices, she learned that a woman named Rosemary Crane had disappeared from her home the night before. Luckily, the newspaper had a list of safe houses that are apparently usually vacant at the time of year Crane disappeared. She began to look through the list of places.
At Wayne Manor, Alfred tells Bruce that Dick is arriving and will want to use the mansion's nightlight to see around the house in the dark. As Bruce enters the room to say hello to Dick, Bruce notices that Dick is accompanied by a woman. He wonders who the woman is, and the next day he is surprised to learn that she is Robin's girlfriend, Stephanie.
The Aero glass is an excellent feature that I miss. Is there anyway that I can turn it back on? I am using Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit with Service Pack 1 and was hoping that it would be fixed by now. I'm using a HP Pavilion dv6-3154dx with ATI Radeon HD 2600 XT graphics card.
As a user of Windows 7, I am experiencing the Aero Glass issue. My first idea is to disable Aero Glass altogether. But then I am afraid that there might be some apps that rely on it. I am desperate now, how to solve this issue, and if I have to disable Aero Glass, how to do it the best. 827ec27edc
