The only tool I have that is of any help to me is this WIN directory recovery program. It can recover most of my data, but gets very confusing when it comes to the recovery of other software that I like to install in my Norton firewall. So for simplicity, I'd like to be able to forget about WinDir. After 3 reinstalls of this program, I get frustrated. I want to give up! I'm at a loss for the one tool that can retrieve exactly my data. This program is not as powerful as Disk Drill, but it recovered all my files with a reasonable amount of effort.
I've needed to recover deleted files for a while now, and none of the tools I'd used have worked. At last I found a tool that worked great. My just did an image recovery for free. I found the files I was looking for, and even the icons. and I was able to recover a file I partied with and didn't save. Yep, it magically found... my system files and the icons.
Don't expect to know when the software is going to recover the data. Sometimes you can have up to 25 days to recover the data. Once you have the data you want, you can then proceed to the test to see if the data is there.
Win Undelete Pro is an excellent tool that diligently checks all folders and overwrites the deleted files with a string of random numbers. If the tool does not find any of the files or folders that you are looking for, you will know that the files were indeed deleted. It works with FAT16, FAT32, and NTFS filesystems. d2c66b5586
