Five of us descended from one car on the Mt SAC campus and we quickly divided into two groups. Suzy with Ron & Baldwin, I went with Glenn. This gave me an opportunity to observe Glenn in his gentle approach to those we encountered. Many allowed us to pray for & bless them. As we spoke to these folks, I realized how far I still have to go to feel comfortable 'doing the stuff.' I have much to overcome in taking any initiative to approach people who are already in conversation with others. Glenn taught me the more you do it, the easier it'll become, AND, once I realize how much Jesus values & cares for these individuals, I'll become bolder in my attempts. At the end of Pastor Allen's Sunday message, I had a vision of Jesus with one arm around my shoulders, leaning into me with love & compassion in his eyes saying, "I'll walk with you." He wanted me to know that I have as much value to Him (as I learn to do this better), as He has for those we're trying to minister too!" What a friend we have in Jesus!
