Tuesday night, Christeena shared about our adoption as children of God. The freely given love carried out through Holy Spirit is so soul soaking that we couldn’t wait to impart the joy and peace to other people in the street.
On Wednesday morning, at the same parking lot, many different faces showed up, and yet all belong to one family of God. As Eddie King said, this place is a playground for us to reach out. Praying for our family members became more natural and leisurely. Setting minds on the Spirit give people peace. A 5 or 6 years old girl, Kate, knows the Heavenly Father and prayed to Him by herself. Kate is still suffering from disease but she seems more peaceful than peers. We prayed for her mom Sylvia, brother and sister Jessica and Michael as well. Esmel was standing behind and prayed along with us in Spanish. With the help of Sylvia translating, we got to hear Esmel’s testimony. When he was trying to suicide, God continued his life and wanted him to live in love.
As Alistar and Pastor Mark prayed for a family of four, the mom and daughter teared up. We hugged each other. Walking with our Father in light is secure and comfortable, because His love is not gonna be separated from us and grace is not on the basis of works. Everyone has it.
In the end, Pastor Charlene formed an alter in the center and called on people to speak up for miracles. About 30 came up and wanted prayers mostly for families, lost sons, sons in jail, etc. We laid our hands on them and prayed together.
Brother Steward from Texas just relocated to LA, living close to voh. Prayed for his employment and direction from God. Gave him church address and invited him to join Sunday service. Hope to see Steward soon.
This is so great, Joe. I can feel the peace of God even through your writing.
