Although tired from our Tues eve session, I went to Is's Rock on Wed morning. Daniel Hernandez (Vine/Pomona's Spanish Pastor) encouraged me to look around. See if I'm drawn to anyone - like a magnet - someone you keep coming back too. After Daniel & I prayed for Marta, for 'walls' to be broken & for her diabetes, I learned from Mark Maki that he'd prayed for a woman's fractured hand. Sally said it was a little better. True to Daniel's words, I was drawn to Sally & finally asked if I could pray for her hand, too. She was willing. We seemed to connect, so we continued chatting about many things, but mostly about our sons. Sally's son is getting a nursing degree & will be taking his exam this month. We prayed for him to pass the exam & to find a job. I asked if her hand still hurt. She said no, but they were cold. I happened to have my Nike thin (exercise) gloves in my backpack, so I offered them to her. She reluctantly, but graciously, accepted them. Before leaving, I told Sally I'd continue to pray for her & her son, & she said she hoped to see me again. I left Is's Rock, thankful for such a sweet encounter, & I'm very grateful I had those gloves with me!

Love it!
