My first attempt ever to 'go out into the streets' was on Sat. morning in Walnut with the faithful folks at VOH. Each of us contributed our impressions to a list for a Treasure Hunt to use as a guide. My impression was of a woman in a striped shirt on a sidewalk. Almost immediately, I learned things do not always go as planned. Due to our freeway exit being closed, keeping us from our intended destination, we had to make a quick adjustment & we went to a nearby Walmart. Everyone (save 1) gladly received our offer for prayer, however, none of them were the ones listed on our map. The next morning, I suddenly realized I HAD seen the woman in the striped shirt. She'd walked by us as we were praying for someone else. So even though I'm sorry I missed praying for her at the appointed time, she's actually received a lot of prayer since then, because I lift her up each time of think of her. Thankful that God is still at work, even when we miss an opportunity.

Hi Patti, thanks for sharing with us. We missed our first target too at the very beginning. I am very thankful at end of the session Pastor Glenn offered us opportunity to pray for that young man we missed and say a blessing to him. I am sure God hears our cries and will answer our prayer to reveal Himself to him. Praise the Lord! Very glad we are learning together.
You're very welcome! Great to partner with you in ministry! God's Word tells us, "But encourage one another daily .." (Heb. 3:13) -- I'm really glad that we could partner together with brothers and sisters each week in Activation outreach!
Hi Patti, I believe that God heard your prayers and will answer them in due time for the woman in the striped shirt.
