Kingdom Musings

Updated: Mar 17, 2019

This is a historic moment for many of us. God is a relentlessly communicating God and he has been moving and speaking in significant ways lately. I'm really impacted by the wide diversity of Jesus followers who are speaking out of a deep sense of conviction that God is doing some new things at this time in our history. We must pull out all the stops to keep our spiritual senses sharp and heighten our awareness of what God is saying and doing so that we can move with him in his mission through us to make the world right, or to use biblical terminology, "to make all things new (Rev 21:5; 2 Cor 5:17; Gal 6:15)!" God has given us the privilege and authority to live a supernatural "good news" lifestyle to bring his presence and his kingdom to our families, neighborhoods, and to remote places on the planet (Matt 28:18–20; Acts 1:8). I just returned from the Mid-east where Muslim ISIS survivors recounted dreams to us in which Jesus appeared to them or there was some significance regarding Jesus or the church. They wanted us to interpret their dreams, which we gladly did! We then prophesied over a group of about 20. At the end one of the "dreamers" gave her life to Jesus. She is now being discipled by local church leaders. On this trip we also met with Israelis and Palestinians who are following biblical principles of reconciliation and God is moving among them. A number of Palestinians and Israelis told us that God is giving them love and understanding for their enemies. They are experiencing a supernatural impulse to make peace. But God is not only working supernaturally through us in far off places. He is using us to bring the good news of reconciliation with him and the enjoyment of his presence to our families at home, to our neighbors, our fellow students, and our work colleagues. Join us at Catalyst School of Ministry to journey with God into a new adventure of intimacy and mission with him!
